1. General

  1. At LEVRA, we care about your personal information, so we prepared this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, store, use, and share it. This Privacy Policy applies to all LEVRA services. By using the Service, you agree with LEVRA’s collection, use, and sharing of your personal information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
  2. Please note that LEVRA is constantly testing and improving our product features . Any feature discussed in this Privacy Policy may not be available to all users or all jurisdictions.

2. Data Collection

  1. The personal data we collect from you include:
    • Questions, queries or feedback provided, including email address if you contact LEVRA. 
    • A learner’s work email address when they sign up to our LEVRA Learn Portal. 
    • A learner’s gender, age and professional experience. 
    • A learner’s results and interaction through our immersive learning experiences. 

3. Data Uses

  1. We use personal data to provide and improve our service; for analytics, research, marketing, and sales purposes; to comply with law and regulations; and to support our legitimate business operations. We will only process your data when the legal basis of processing is met, which means the following applies:
    • You give your explicit consent of processing your personal data for one or more specific purposes by having accepting our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy;
    • Your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party of;
    • Processing is necessary to be in compliance with our legal obligation;
    • Processing is necessary to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person;
    • Processing is necessary to carry out a task in favour of the public interest; or 
    • Processing is necessary for our specific, transparent, legitimate purposes that do not override your fundamental rights. 
  2. We design, build and run our systems to make sure that your data is as safe as possible at all stages, both while it’s processed and when it’s stored. All personal data collected through Type Form is hosted on Amazon’s AWS service, these servers are in the EU. Where data processing happens in the US, suppliers need to meet the certification standards set out in the UK-US data bridge Agreement. This facilitates flows of personal data to certified US companies that have opted into the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  3. We process personal data for the following purposes:
    • To facilitate and improve our Service. 
      • We authenticate learners’ identity to facilitate their enrolment, attendance tracking, and certification processes. 
      • We acquire learners’ personal data to document, measure, and track their Human Skills improvement over time.
      • We provide learners with information about our Service and with relevant resources, recommendations, and career development opportunities. 
    • To communicate with you.
      • We communicate with clients and learners regarding programme updates, feedback, and additional learning support.
      • We conduct surveys to gather feedback for the continuous improvement of our service. 
      • Under client and learners request, we respond to their feedback.
    • To comply with our legal duties and prevent harmful activities. 
      • We may process and share your personal data if necessary to comply with legal requests. 
      • We use your data to identify and report any illegal or prohibited activity. 
    • To facilitate our marketing campaigns.
      • We will use de-identified or anonymous data for research, marketing, and sales purposes. 
      • We use the research results and analysis to highlight our brand image and to have a stronger business presence among investors and potential clients. 
      • We publish your anonymous feedback and de-identified submissions to our public forums including websites, social media accounts, and blogs. 

4. Data Location and Retention

  1. We may process de-identified information for other purposes. We will notify you immediately if a personal data breach occurs. The notification will include the nature of the personal data breach and our proposed measures to address it. 
  2. We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this document or for as long as the law requires us to. After that period, we will securely delete or anonymise your data.
  3. You could withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data. Upon your request, we will provide you a written confirmation that deletion has occurred.
  4. Nevertheless, we will:
    • Keep learners’ email data until they unsubscribe; and 
    • Keep learners’ anonymous feedback data indefinitely and lawfully.

5. Data Sharing

  1. We will not sell or rent your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes without your explicit consent to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, However, we may share your data with secured, trusted partners and service providers for legitimate business operations purposes, including but not limited to:
    • Email service providers; 
    • Our hosting providers including Typeform, Cornerstone, and Flex who store data securely and facilitate the daily operations of our platforms; and 
    • Payment processors to enable purchases or subscriptions.
  2. The data we collect may be used to generate anonymised statistical data for research and analysis purposes. We will only share your identified personal data with your explicit consent or if we are required to do so by law, for example, by court order, or to prevent fraud or other crime or we obtain your express permission.

6. Children’s privacy protection

  1. Our services are not designed for, or intentionally targeted at, children 13 years of age or younger. We do not intentionally collect or maintain data about anyone under the age of 13.

7. Data Security

  1. We are committed to doing all that we can to keep your data secure. We have set up systems and processes to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure of your data, for example, we protect your data using varying levels of encryption.
  2. We also make sure that any third parties that we deal with keep all personal data they process on our behalf secure.

8. Your Privacy Rights

  1. You have the right to request:
    • Information about how your personal data is processed;
    • A copy of that personal data; and 
    • That anything inaccurate in your personal data is corrected immediately. 
  2. You can also:
    • Raise an objection about how your personal data is processed;
    • Request that your personal data is erased if there is no longer a justification for it; and 
    • Ask that the processing of your personal data is restricted in certain circumstances.

    Changes to this policy

    1. We may change this privacy policy. In that case, the ‘last updated’ date at the bottom of this page will also change. Any changes to this privacy policy will apply to you and your data immediately. If these changes affect how your personal data is processed, LEVRA will take reasonable steps to let you know.
